Shades of Cool
This week's spread in Canvas magazine features a model looking very chic in our Oliver Goldsmith 'Audrey' sunglasses in Light Rum. This frame was originally designed in Notting Hill in 1963 and is the last word in timeless elegance.
Also pictured on the female model in the main image is the Oliver Goldsmith 'Commandant' in Matte Latte; the light matte finish lends a modern edge to this vintage design from 1964.
Our thanks to Canvas magazine for the coverage. Both sunglasses are in store now.

Glasses of the Week: Classic Looks
Robin Taylor is getting back to his English roots with his new Claire Goldsmith eyewear.
Originally from Bristol, Robin's glasses hail from Notting Hill London, just a stone's throw away. The warm tortoiseshell tones compliments him, and the shape is a perfect fit.
These classic frames are designed after a pair of Goldsmiths that Michael Caine owned, and they will never go out of style!

GLCO x Bros. Marshall Collaboration
Fresh in! We have an exciting new frame from Garrett Leight in collaboration with the Marshall Brothers, a Los Angeles surf brand. They have put their own twist on this popular Garrett Leight sunglass design by sandblasting the frame so that the tortoiseshell finish is matte, and fitting it with gold mirror lenses. These sunglasses say one thing: sun, sea and surf!

Glasses of the Week: Kate Budgen
Kate Budgen wearing new Yellows Plus glasses in time for her final year 13 exams. At age 18, Katie's list of achievements runs for miles. She has just completed her final year at Mt Albert Grammar School where she was Head Girl and awarded Dux.
Academia has not been at the expense of the arts or sport as Katie is an accomplished cello player and was captain of the New Zealand Women's La Crosse team. She is one of only a small number of students to receive an Auckland University full fees scholarship.
However to us here, Katie is most well known as Tom Holmes' (Michael's son's) girlfriend. Lucky Tom! All the best Katie (and Tom) as you head off to Uni next year.

Get the Look: James Dean
Is this a thinly veiled excuse to look at images of James Dean? Maybe, but he's wearing eyewear! Here Jimmy demonstrates his multitude of talents: reading, sculpting, photographing. He was a proud glasses wearer and made them cool in an era when most people were desperate to appear as if they never needed glasses.
